Review of Cocoon: The Return (1988) by Scott P — 04 Dec 2009

Overall this film is not as bad as I expected it to be. It's still a feel good film for old people and it's a faithful sequel (not an unnecessary one as there is still story to tell), however by the halfway mark you just start to lose the ability to care and there are a few stupid things. Not the worst sequel ever made, but at least it made it so there wouldn't be a Cocoon 3. If you're a fan of the original, you may want to check this out just for the hell of it.

Edit: Additionally this film has Wilford Brimley in it. That as reason alone to watch this.
