Review of Cocoon: The Return (1988) by Evan H — 09 Apr 2015
I actually liked this one more than the original. I think this one is less awkward than the first and has more of a message to it dealing with immortality. Elaine Stritch steals the show as the new addition to the cast and Jessica Tandy really is a stand out in this one.
Jack Gilford is great just like he was in the first and Wilfrod Brimely too. I just felt like this one really had more to it in terms of a plot and a look on life itself.
