I recommend this movie to my wife after reading about it in Entertainment Weekly a few days ago. We watched it On Demand, and it was enjoyable and easy to watch. My wife laughed and she cried.
I wanted to appreciate a popular Ron Howard directed film, and I enjoyed the story of friendly aliens working on saving some of their own left on Earth. Their journey turns on them when encountered by a group of elderly people who use their Cocoon's to extend their own lives.
