Review of Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky (2009) by Kelly S — 09 Aug 2010

Visually, this film is striking. However, the pacing is too slow, at times frustratingly so. The last ten minutes of the film were so out of place that it almost ruined the movie for me.

I do think Anna Mouglalis did a fantastic job as Chanel. I enjoyed her take on Chanel more than Audrey Tautou's in "Coco Before Chanel.".

I will not be surprised in the least if this film gets nominated for multiple awards for costume design and production design.
