Why focus on the less interesting part of her life? The acting is all right, if ever-so slightly stereotypical.
The costumes are well done (undeniably crucial in a film such as this).
Writing-wise, the characters are often unconvincing. Trying to make Coco seem like a strong woman whilst at the same time justifying her decision to (very obviously) live off a rich man makes little sense.
