Review of Coco Before Chanel (2009) by Joe B — 23 Feb 2010
Decent biopic that focuses just a bit too much on the BEFORE and not enough on the after. It does get a bit tedious and drippy in it's last half...but is saved largely by Tautou's steely performance.
I've never found her very warm, inviting, or emotionally deep in films...but she has a nice air about her here.
