Found this movie really fascinating to watch, not knowing that much about fashion or Chanel, let alone Coco before she was famous. I really liked this portrayal of a strong woman with a distinct, spare personal style.
Eschewing corsets and uncomfortable clothing, she was ahead of her time. Audrey Tautou's performance is multi-layered and wonderful. I liked watching the "making of" featurettes on the DVD which provide good insight into the director/writer's process.
