Review of Coco Before Chanel (2009) by Kim B — 02 May 2011

Audrey Tautou was perfect for this role-her facial expressions tell a thousand words. I loved the screenplay and inspiring true story of an independent, fearless woman. I just wish that it would have shown more of her work and rest of her life including Nazi scandal, but I know it's supposed to show her before she became a designer.

However, this movie is more of a romance than a biopic. I liked seeing her complicated relationship with the man she lived with, this movie had 2 love stories in it. It was a little slow at parts and there wasn't too much dialogue, but overall very good.
