Review of Coco (2017) by Joey F — 18 Jan 2018

I'm honestly confused that this movie is getting the high marks that it is. I thought this was one of the worst movies Pixar has ever put out. I'm debating writing a big full review of this to explain exactly why, but for now - the music sucks (the songs and Giacchino's score which is one of his absolute worst), all the characters were the comedic relief, the acting was bleh, the story was shallow and formulaic, the jokes were all like Dreamworks level of "satire," and even the character animation felt stock and lazy.

I dunno, I didn't find much to like in this movie.
