A wonderfully charming family movie that will have sentimental folks reaching for the tissue box. as someone who has never really investigated what the DAY OF THE DEAD is about, this is a nice into.
This movie evolves digital animation even further (just when you think the genre has reached it's full potential). character movements and facial expression - though cartoon - seem to express a sophisticated level of subtle movements, making COCO both a visual treat to go with the heartwarming story.
My money is on COCO landing an OSCAR.
