Review of Coco (2017) by Romeo V — 10 May 2018
To begin with the movie's introduction was fairly good and shows us the main character. I like that the setting matches what the celebration is based on,which is in Mexico. That is where dia de los muertos is celebrated.
The kids voice is fairly annoying and there is alot of singing and the movie has berly begun. All the characters and how they are introduced make a connection to Mexican culture. The writers made a good choice by not bringing up a bunch of different characters and making it nice and simple.
One of the best aspects of this film is the visual graphics. They are astonishing and keeps the viewer interested due to all the bright and colorful movie scenes. I personally don't like all the singing, but what else could you expect from a kids movies.
I expected it to be alot of singing thru out the entire movie. The singing was one of the main factors that bothered me. It has one of the best plot twists I have ever seen in any Disney movie. I was not expecting that at all and it really surprised me.
It took me on a roller coaster of emotions thru out the entire movie and had me feeling very emotional. I would highly recommend watching this movie for any person of any age.
