Review of Coco (2017) by Estela R — 22 May 2018

Coco was released on November 22, 2017. "Coco" is the sprightly story of a young boy who wants to be a musician just like his idol Ernesto De La Cruz. Miguel wanted to perform in a show, so people could see how talent he is but he didn't have a guitar which it lead him to steal de la cruz guitar.

Miguel finds himself in the land of the death after trying to steal de la cruz guitar. Miguel performed in a music show which it would lead him to see Ernesto De La Cruz, so he could get his blessing, and could go back to the land of the living.

Since his family would give him the blessing but with a condition of never play music again. Miguel found out that De La Cruz wasn't his great great grandpa. The movie was basically based on Mexican traditions and the characters wore colorful clothes such as colorful dresses which is one of the most popular Mexican traditions.

I actually enjoyed the movie, it was one of the best movies that I have ever watched. This movie it actually makes you reflect on life, and it shows you how important is family.
