"Not only the BEST ANIMATED MOVIE of the year, but some of the finest adaptations of mexican culture I've seen in theaters" ///// That's right, Coco surprises (as expected from Pixar) with the outstanding visual effects, the charming songs ("Recuérdame" probably some of the best tracks created in animated films), the incredible cast (the latin accent and the chemistry between them) and "Día de los Muertos" theme, which I haven't seen in movies frequently.
It's all well-made in terms of production and values. ///// Saddly, this year the animated movies were not so good as previous years but COCO managed to be some of the biggest surprises because it also has heart and good intentions.
It's good to see that current movies try to entertain, inform and also educate to the audience instead of doing nonsenses (take THE EMOJI MOVIE).
