Review of Coco (2017) by Tim W — 14 Jan 2018

Since I saw Inside Out and thought it was nothing like the original Pixar films, I thought that Coco would be worse at first. I decided to go and see the film this afternoon, thinking it would be good but not great.

I watched it, and I have to admit, I was impressed. Despite a few awkward moments, the story is spectacular, and it goes well with its dazzling animation. Who needs a story of emotions inside your own head when this has got a beautiful story full of (as this site says) culture, family, life, death and MUSIC! I wish I could have made a film like that.

It only goes to show that Disney and Pixar had not lost its ability to entertain. I'd see it again if I ever would have the chance and find a way to pay for it myself.
