Review of Coco (2017) by Reubenisagod — 27 Dec 2017
Just a very profoundly touching tale essentially about music, passion and the importance of family and legacy. Probably the most personally touching Pixar movie for me, being a musician and having a deeply strong passion for guitar, I found COCO to be one of the most memorable PIXAR films of recent memory, that I found actually deeply interesting due to the setting and the characters, and how the flick deals particularly with Mexican culture.
Just a really pleasant flick overall. In terms of criticisms, It's not necessarily the most original of narratives, and is actually sort of very predictable in terms of where the narrative is going and what happens.
Otherwise, I loved it. Id happy go see it again, and an enjoyable, heart wrenching gift for the whole family to enjoy.
