Review of Coco (2017) by Ly G — 03 Dec 2017
Pixar delivers great movies so often that when they don't, it is a shock. "Coco" is not one of those bad movies, but may actually be one of Pixar's best. The story of Miguel, a young boy trying to find his passion while going against his families wishes, takes us on a journey on Dia de los Muertos to the Land of the Dead.
Miguel travels through the stunning and colorful home of those who have passed, along the way proving his talents and learning the real story of his family. The animation in "Coco" is marvelous and once again shows the quality of Pixar studios.
From the fingers picking the strings of a guitar to the streets of the Land of the dead, each and every scene is beautiful.
