I feel like "Coco" was the reverse "Book of Life". While the former does have better animation and music than the latter, it unfortunately also has a watered-down story and characters.
If there was a movie that had the rich animation and music of "Coco" with the splashy characters and story of "The Book of Life", then it would be a perfect Day of the Dead film.
