Review of Coco (2017) by Flexedacorn — 29 Nov 2017
Coco is another great film by Pixar studio. On one side it is just an entertaining family movie about a boy and his passion for music, but like most Pixar films has more serious messages slipped into the narrative.
**Light spoilers** This time around the studio touches on themes of family, the loss of loved ones, and a more subtle reference to Alzheimer’s/Dementia. **End of spoilers** The only Con to the film for me is that the final act felt a little rushed; this did not impact my overall enjoyment factor.
If you are a fan of any of the studios other works I highly recommend this film. The attention to detail is amazing, and they even went as far as to capture the hand motions of actual musicians to add to the authenticity.
