Review of Coco (2017) by Compi24 — 28 Nov 2017
Pixar continues its streak of stark, visually resplendent, and narratively superior animated films with "Coco," a celebratory look at death, the afterlife, and the importance of family and following your dreams.
It's rare that you watch an animated movie with a story that's as effective on children as it is on adults - something that Pixar's proved it can do time and time again, albeit - but when you mix in some of the thematics mentioned above, it's that much more impressive.
Hats off to co-directors Lee Unkrich and Adrian Molina for crafting such a powerful treat.
