Review of Coco (2017) by Steven F — 16 Aug 2018
It was amazing! The way Lee Unkrich and Adrian Molina unravle an animated film to describe the magnificent culture of "Dia de los Muertos" typicially celebrated in Mexico. Where families honor their deceased family members. This film sends us all an important message about family unification and although sometimes its hard to understand one another and their beliefs family will always be their to help Miguel.
The soundtrack was truly breathtaking, they created and original song that makes you even tear up at some point. They chose the correct lyrics the describe the situation perfectly.
The vivid colors that thay in this animated film were incredible, the way introduced mexican folk-culture to design the wardrobe and the scene were truly captivtating the picture was one of its best qualities.
Sound Effects was a key element that the creators knew how to perfectly create and add the right time to get the perfect impresion.
All in all Coco is practically one of the best animated films of the decade. You can tell the whole team put their hearts in creating this movie to send a message to every member of any family.
