First time I watched this, I thought that the only flaw was recycling some plot elements from older Pixar films. However, having watched it the second time, I realised that even these points were used possibly to a better effect than their predecessors, and in a more deserving film. All in all I would say this is more than a return to form for Pixar, calling back to their golden age; it may just be the best feature-length film they have ever made, and a wonderful achievement in animated film.
