Review of Cocaine Cowboys (2006) by Jake E — 26 Nov 2010
Scarface comes to life in this documentary about the start of the cocaine industry in Florida in the 70's and 80's. The replay value of this film is great. The story is exciting, informative, and contrasts the wealthy, fast-moving lifestyle with the cold, hard, murderous reality.
It takes you into the world of both the Columbian and Cuban cocaine trade and breaks down how the industry built the and shaped the economy in Miami.
