Review of Cobra (1986) by Eoin H — 17 Dec 2007
As the English would say, this film finds Stallone in his pomp.
Why?
The mid 80s. Brigitte Nielsen. Senseless. Pointless. Curiously bloodless automatic weapon generated violence. Devoid of any artiistic redemption, bar a kind of snapshot of a particular/peculiar brand of 1980s stupidity.
Profoundly moronic. And classic Stallone. Chew irony merrily when watching... but please dont swallow.
Terrible.
I just realised that the director when to London International Film School... HAHAHAHAHAH. Oh dear.
