Review of Cobra (1986) by Timothy S — 03 Jan 2011
The grocery store sequence at the beginning of the movie is still one of my favorite hostage situations in a movie. Too bad it completely fizzles out after that... that is, until he impales the guy on the hook, then sends him screaming into a furnace in one of the most gratuitous, sweaty fight scenes in history.
This movie just tries too hard.
