Review of Cobb (1994) by Ben D — 14 Feb 2010
I read Al Stump's book "Cobb" about 10 years ago and it is still one of the most intriguing books I've ever read. So, it's inevitable that the movie would be a bit of a let down. I still consider it a fine film.
Tommy Lee Jones puts in a great performance, once you get past the fact that he looks nothing like the Georgia Peach. Robert Wuhl just doesn't seem quite right as Stump. The movie is worth checking out.
..but read the book.
