Review of Coal Miner's Daughter (1980) by Margaret M — 21 Feb 2008
I totally didn't know her father was Levon Helm. This makes me happy.
The movie has a real heart, a southern warmth to it. It's so fucking seventies though, I wish it was made maybe before? In black and white? Not that fuzzy color shit. The acting is great, and I like the music because I'm an old southern man at heart.
