Review of Coach Carter (2005) by Etan V — 08 Feb 2010
Jackson is in what might be his greatest role here. The movie tells a good story but seems to fall out in the importance category because of the main issue in the movie being a lockout that only lasted 2 games.
While I can see that being irritating, I don't think it is enough to make a movie about. After watching a great sports movie last week (We Are Marshall) this just doesn't feel as good as it might have if it was the only movie of its kind that I watched recently.
