Based on a true story inspired by controversial Coach Ken Carter who benched his entire undefeated basketball team because of poor academic results. Basically our children's future need more inspirational figures like Ken Carter who put their academic's & future before sport.
No wonder most of the young adults in the movie were failing with parents they had who considered a game more important than their child's future. Some call it cliched & predictable but considering it's based on a true story it's going to be as predictable as night follows day & life is as cliched as it gets! This one definitely goes in my best sports movies list.
A very strong performance from Samuel L Jackson & he's not let down by the supporting cast.
