Review of Clueless (1995) by Timothy A — 24 Apr 2017
Bright, poppy and frothy confection focusing entirely on the light side of mid-90s teen culture, as experienced by 1% of its primary audience. Keeping the character arcs short and focused on the fact that rich kids have feelings rather than rich kids have problems stops it going over the top and gives it a surprising emotional resonance for what ostensibly has all the depth of a soap opera.
