Well, Brittany Murphy, and may you rest in peace, but this film sure does prove that you were "sooooo" not "always really thin." Sorry, girl. And this performance actually beat most of your later ones.
And so I actually feel that this became a far finer tribute to an actress' short-lived film career than her latter, more "glamorous" work. A true sign of the times and quite funny impersonation of all that made the 1990s both heinous and now-missed.
