Review of Clue (1985) by Moyi D — 11 Feb 2011
Some light hearted fun and quality acting. It's impossible to forget this movie because it's shown so many times on tv. A bit lame, most people would agree, but this movie is really a lot more sophisticated than people give it credit for.
The who-dun-it plot mirrors the McCarthy-era paranoia the film is supposed to be set in. The 3 alternate endings itself is a reference to the nature of murder mysteries - that really anyone could have done it, so don't take it too seriously.
A great cast and Tim Curry in a leading role gives this movie the cult following it deserves to have.
