Review of Clue (1985) by Chad H — 24 Jul 2013
Since Clue came out in 1985, the movie is dated but the comedy still feels as fresh as ever. Being based off of the board game of the same name, the plot is simple; Who shot Mr. Body? So, you have your favorite suspects in Mrs.
White, Ms. Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Prof. Plum, Mr. Green, and Mrs. Peacock trying to find out who did the crime. The added character in Wadsworth adds some must needed substance as well as comedy. While the chaos ensues, you can't stop laughing from the classic one liners, or the completely childish actions of the characters.
The best thing about watching this movie on DVD is that you get to see the three endings, and all of them are funnier than the last. The acting is pretty good. While the acting isn't perfect, the only actor that needed to be on their game was Tim Curry.
He played the perfect blend of a wacky, and bizarre butler and his line delivery was almost always perfect. Definitely worth it to watch.
