Review of Clue (1985) by Matt G — 30 Mar 2015
Making a movie based on a board game, is a really hard task to do while making it like the board game, but Clue actually succeed in doing that which is a surprise. What makes it better than I thought, is the excellent cast with Tim Curry being one of the highlights.
It has a lot of funny moments, and you get to know about a lot of characters that'll get you invested to know who did it. The multiple endings are really good even though it can get a bit rushed which you have to hear very quickly about what they're saying.
The script is really good, and the setting looks nice which is close to the board game itself. It has its imperfections, but Clue is a faithful movie that is rare to see, unlike Peter Berg's Battleship.
