Some well worked scenes of tension and a constant mood sit this more as a studio work than a cheap and nasty horror film. It's unsuprising then that director Victor Salva went on the make the likes of Powder and Jeepers Creepers.
But beyond these positives there is little of merit. Poor performances and some very underwhelming action set pieces.
