Clown is a character horror film that doesn't want to bother with pesky things like character development, adequate pacing, or a consistent tone, always stuck in an awkward space between self aware and realistic, and worst of all, desperately tries to scare or disturb the audience, almost always to no prevail, making this film yet another miss in the 'monster clown' genre spawned by IT.
