121102: When did all these "hand held video camera" movies become popular? Blair Witch? Seems like there are so many nowadays, or at least, I've seen many in the last year. Cloverfield is just one more and not a very good one.
Aliens attack New York. If you survive the first 20 minutes then you'll likely make it through the movie. Those 20 are killers. Jeez, start the movie for god's sake. There are fun moments here but just found this whole movie uninspiring.
Could care less about the characters and the military just didn't get one on one with the aliens enough. More close combat firepower please. Three stars is pushing it. IMDB, what are you thinking? Top Ten Horror Movies my ass.
