Cloverfield is a solid monster flick that manages to build tension while creating and developing real characters. This film has some unique qualities worth mentioning like the fact that the whole movie is a character holding a camera.

This does make some scenes uncomfortable to watch when the camera shakes but the majority is very interesting. I look forward to the sequel.
