Review of Cloverfield (2008) by Brendan N — 27 Mar 2016
Handheld camera film uses the gimmick way too much. The party and the initial attack are well worth the camera but after that it uses poor excuses for the plot development and character development. Full of rising talent in front and behind the camera.
The film could've been unique but becomes flawed by the handheld gimmick.
