Review of Cloverfield (2008) by Maineutral R — 18 Jun 2013
The movie about big monster attacking the New York in the format of the Blair Witch Project actually works. You can feel the tension and anguish that the characters are going through, and the big moment where the monster reveals itself, it's actually pretty satisfactory, the design is cool and is a bit terrifying, so I guess the movie clears its goal.
