A Sony Animation foray into a full length feature, this is an imaginative and fun twist on a nerd-do-well scientist's experimental breakthrough. The nature of the book upon which this is based meant that CGI was the only means justice could be done to the story and the 100 million dollars investment proved to be a safe bet when this made good at the box office.
