I usually try to keep an open mind with movies based on books by thinking of the movie as a separate entity. I had a hard time doing that with this one, as the only thing the writers took from the book was the title; I wonder if anyone involved even read the book.

I picture a meeting with a bunch of guys sitting around a table saying, "We've got a great title. Now how can we make this cool?" Maybe I'm coming down a little hard; the movie isn't all that bad-- a little generic but not awful.

I laughed a few times. I guess I just expected more from a movie with both Mr. T and Bruce Campbell. You know, those two should make a buddy cop movie or something.
