Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs is that rarest of things; a laugh-out-loud, genuinely touching animated movie that is aimed at adults as much as it is kids.
With absolutely likeable and relatable lead characters, great voice acting across the board. There are moments of great originality and creativity-especially with uses of giant food, the jelly castle and fortune cookie being personal favourites of mine.
Sure, it's not without it's cliche's and predictable moments and the story seems rushed at the beginning but as a whole this is a seriously enjoyable movie.
