Review of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 (2013) by Hugo P — 15 Apr 2014

Cloudy with a chance of meatballs deserves a better a sequel. A quick thing on what I thought of the first one. I really liked the first one, I thought it was funny, and had a light tone to it and it was memorable.

But this sequel just sucks. I didn't laugh with any of the jokes. The movie is meant for kids five and younger. It's forgettable; I don't remember any of the new characters. The movie was visually impressive but it just drags on.

The movie goes on forever. I didn't like any of the characters. It really is meant for kids. I didn't like the movie at all. Kids would love this movie. It's a movie so parents could show their kid so they could shut up and stay still for 90 minutes while the parents do work, or socialize.

I don't have much to say about this movie. The movie doesn't hurt me. Like I said it is forgettable. I forgot most of the plot right after I watched it. There are a few funny parts in the movie, but nowhere near close of what the original was.

They changed directors so I think it's their fault to blame for the movie not being as good as it could have been. Terry Crews isn't as good as Mr. T was in the same role. Most of the animal creatures were annoying, like the strawberry.

Some of them were good and were the best part of the movie, for example the pickles. The pickles were the best part, they are what made me chuckle in the movie. But overall, the plot wasn't as interesting as the first one.

The characters were dull and uninteresting. You won't care or like anything about this movie unless you're five or under. I didn't like it at all, but since I'm not the target audience it doesn't hurt me so that's why I went 2/5 it might be a to much of a high score but it's not for me.
