Review of Clouds of Sils Maria (2014) by Lori B — 13 May 2015
A tad over-earnest and overlong, The Clouds of Sils Maria leans heavily on its trio of actresses, and they come through. Binoche is amazing, and the younger actresses play well off her lead. This film tries a bit to hard to be Bergman to be great on its own merits, but the acting elevates it.
