Review of Clouds of Sils Maria (2014) by George B — 23 Oct 2015

I really wanted to see this movie but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I started feeling almost like the assistant (Kristen Stewart) had a secret agenda when she was trying to persuade Maria (Juliette Binoche) to take the new role in the play. It also felt like Maria (Juliette) was actually becoming the character Helena who she was asked to portray in the play. It may just be me but I kept feeling like Kristen Stewart was up to something. I'm also surprised at how naive Maria's character was after having been in the business for so many.
