Review of Cloud Atlas (2012) by Daniel T — 12 Apr 2014

Honestly, it's not as bad as it looks--and I mean this since I was practically forced to watch it by my girlfriend. I mean, the writing is a bit trite and somewhat pretentious, and the overall plot is highly predictable; however, it's still enjoyable to watch.

I really liked the different roles that each of the actors played throughout the course of the film, and I also liked the special effects; they were pretty. I know a two out of five sounds bad--and this three hour long epic doesn't deserve anything more than a two out of five--but it's a two that's not as bad as you'd think.

It's good.
