Amazingly ambitious and honestly a personal favorite of mine right now.

I wish it was done better. They do a great job of creating a layered universe.

I'm giving it three stars because it was just too much to take on. The plot could of lost two or even three plot lines and extrapolated on the entertaining ones to make up the time. It's a movie by the guys (and now, one gal) that created and produced the Matrix trilogy. I can't say check it out if you're a fan, because the movies are nothing alike. This movie is really unlike any I've seen. And there's a reason for that though. Just too much. But I recommend it regardless.
