Definitely not one to watch while doing other things or having a conversation; this movie demands your full attention, and benefits from a second viewing - even if you thought you got everything the first time through, you probably didn't.

If you can make the effort to give this movie the attention it requires, you will be rewarded. Complicated interwoven story lines from multiple eras elaborately intertwine to deliver a powerful and moving story which is never dull or boring.

You won't be disappointed.
