I expected big things from this Wachowski/Tykwer team up. Unfortunately it was a mash-up of underwhelming sci-fi and historical drama that failed to resonate emotionally. Not a total write-off, its superbly handled by Wachowski & Tykwer it's just a shame the source material wasn't up to scratch.
