Review of Cloud Atlas (2012) by Marc-André B — 02 Feb 2015

Watched this on the DVR over the weekend and have to say that I still don't know what the hell is going on. This movie is DEEEEEEEEEEEP. I really liked the different visuals and thought Hanks and Berry were really good in all the different roles.

The problem for me was I was so lost in the first 45 minutes, that I couldn't catch up, or at least that's how I felt. In retrospect I think we were supposed to be really confused at fisrt...so success? Anyways, kudos on the attempt, but it just didn't connect as well as it needed to, to be the great movie it wanted to be.
